The people of South Africa produce 566 million tons of waste per year and more than 90% of all South Africa’s waste is disposed of in landfill sites.

Recycling is an area where everyone can make a contribution to living lightly on our planet.

Recycling means recovering, separating, collecting, processing, marketing, and ultimately using a material that would have been thrown away.

Oasis provide a free collection service for 100 + businesses, collecting all recyclable material and we also offer a service for shredding of confidential documents.

Oasis also provides opportunities for men and women with intellectual disability, makes their own recycled paper and run a second-hand book shop.

Branches are in Claremont and Elsies River.
