Nungarin is a folk rock band based in Cape Town that is environmentally aware in its practices. We print all of our posters, flyers and album packaging on recycled or hemp paper, and are involved in eco-friendly festivals like Rocking the Daisies. We have also played our part by playing at a few functions that are somewhat in line with the general eco movement/industry.

Some of our songs lyrically express concern for our modern world and its interaction with the environment. Our drummer studied environmental management part-time and is now involved in a recycling business part time as well.

We are not activists or an eco-friendly hippie band, but we do try our best from our side to make a difference and brush off on our followers and fans.
