COMPOSTABLE PACKAGING FOR THE HOME

Biodegradable, compostable film bags for kitchen and home use by Good for the Ground - a business partnership between Alison and Bruce Gilson and Iona Palmer.

Made from environmentally friendly material formed from starch, Good for the Ground bags are a sustainable solution to protect our resources and environment. Under controlled composting conditions they breakdown completely within 45 days, while taking longer in landfill sites.

The unique properties of the material allow items to ‘breathe’, and help extend the life of fruit and vegetables. Bread and pastries remain crisp and fresh, while the aroma barrier keeps the taste in.

Ideal to pack fresh food, sandwiches for lunch, meat to go into the freezer, left over cheese, buttons, beads and any number of other uses, the crisp film ‘holds the fold’, so you can simply fold over and press down or clip with a clothes peg or sticker.

The Good for the Ground film bags are Certified compostable by Din Certco (Reg No 7P0043, 7P0080, 7P0079)
