Worm Castings are an all purpose organic fertilizer and Soil conditioner. They look like dark, soft, pleasantly smelling earth, but they:
- are a fantastic organic fertilizer and soil conditioner
- are safe to use at any concentration
- cannot burn your plants roots like chemical fertilizers do.
- don't have to be measured, and can't overdose your plants
- can simply be scattered on the surface and worked in a little if you wish.

Worm Castings are alive with beneficial bacteria which harness additional nutrients from the air, and can totally revitalize your soil. A golf ball sized lump of vermicastings contains around 5 billion living organisms.

Worm Tea is a Liquid Plant food that:
- has properties which will naturally repel insects and disease.
- is perfect for fertilizing your lawn, vegetables and house plants
- can be used as often as you like, it will never burn your plants.
- can make your fruits and vegetables more nutritious.
- helps you to use fewer harmful chemicals in your garden

Shake the bottle before use to activate the organisms in the fluid. The tea can be sprayed directly on the leaves of your plants or added to water in the watering can. Many organic growers report fantastic results with their vegetables, fruit and roses.

We also offer workshops on worm farming, and an on- and offsite recycling service.

We recently started selling Bokashi indoor composters, which have no waste, no bad smells and no insects and rodents. What is Bokashi? That’s a question we receive again and again in recent weeks.
Bokashi is a relatively new process of fermenting organic waste material like kitchen scraps.

It originated in Japan and is done in specially designed “Bokashi buckets”. They are designed to anaerobic ally ferment organic waste products with the help of beneficial microbes, which are applied inside the bucket with the aid of “GW bokashi bran”

Just follow a few simple steps and start to recycle nearly all your kitchen waste, even fish, dairy products and meat!

Once the bucket is full it will take 10 to 14 days to be processed and fully fermented. Than you can open your bucket and either add its contents to your Compost heap,or use to enrich your garden soil.

While many available bokashi composters are imported the “GW Bokashi Kitchen Composter” is manufactured locally, out of recycled plastic, which reduces the costs and its Carbon footprint. It is designed to separate the liquid bokashi juice from the solid waste!
