An initiative of the Jhb City Council, this is a partnership between the Midrand Metropolitan Local Council and the Ecocity Trust to establish Midrand as a self-sustaining economy. Projects include: eco building, organic urban agriculture, green transport, solar heating and water conservation. Previously disadvantaged people are learning to grow their own organic food.
