Our research programs, conducted over a broad spectrum of alternative sanitation solutions, locally and internationally, present us with only one conclusion namely that these solutions were 1) too complex in design, 2) too expensive and 3) installation and post-installation costs were excessive and too complex for the average every day user.

The solution – the African Sanitation waterless, chemical free, DIY, low maintenance, environmentally friendly and self – contained toilet, the “COMPOSTER.”

Adopting the same technology principles and enshrining nature’s processes, but also simplifying and redefining the concept of dry sanitation composting toilets, we designed our high-class, and of international standard, but affordable waterless composting toilet system to be as simple, acceptable, affordable and economical sanitation alternative to current and costly water borne sanitation systems.

The “COMPOSTER” is simple, yet durable, aesthetically acceptable in design, of high quality, affordable and easily maintained – most of all a sanitation solution that can be easily relocated if and when the need should arise.
